The vision is a world where people are wise enough to know that all human beings have been created equal but are uniquely born: some as men, some as women; some as light-skinned, some as dark-skinned; some with sight, some without; some with able-bodied, and some less so.
Therefore, because no human being chooses how and where they were born, we must respect and accept an individual’s uniqueness as a human equal to ourselves, regardless of economic or professional status and without prejudice based upon selfishness, ignorance, hatred, upbringing, or religious belief.
To qualify each soul as part of the human spirit separate from animals, every person must subscribe to the belief that the power to love one another is vested in us, not the weakness to enslave one another, destroy one another, proselytize one another by coercion, or conceive ourselves to be biologically superior to one another, by either race or gender.
It is nevertheless a world full of forgiveness where compassion reigns: a world where every person contributes to lifting other souls uniquely born with lesser capacities, but never sees such help as self-sacrifice, but as the opportunity to honor in each of us the human spirit that finds for our bodies honorable graves and, for our souls, triumphant ascension into eternal quietude – Philip Jegede
